Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will assist Senior Engineers in planning, designing, and executing civil, environmental, geotechnical, and closure & remediation projects. This includes preparing tenders, pre-qualifications, panel submissions, collecting and analyzing data to support team decisions and project outcomes, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, creating and maintaining technical documentation, reports, and drawings, identifying and solving engineering problems, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Support: Assist Senior Engineers in planning, designing, and executing civil, environmental, geotechnical, and closure & remediation projects.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to support team decisions and project outcomes.
  • Technical Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and drawings.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and solve engineering problems.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate or graduating before Feb 2026 of a tertiary degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering.
  • Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia.
  • Previous student vacation/internship experience ideally in a consulting environment highly desired.
  • Experience working within a team in retail, hospitality or customer service industries highly desired.
  • Possesses a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Are innovative thinkers and problem-solvers.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Excellent rapport building skills and desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
