Graduate Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work under the guidance and instruction of senior engineers.
  2. Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team of geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, environmental scientists, and sub-consultants at a national level.
  3. Implement all company and project-specific health and safety requirements.
  4. Undertake a variety of geotechnical fieldwork tasks commensurate with your role requirements, experience level, and business needs.
  5. Conduct site investigations, including drilling, sampling, and testing of soils and rocks.
  6. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  7. Understand, uphold, and communicate D&N's Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management system.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  1. A degree in Earth Science, Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  2. Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
  3. A passion for fieldwork and a commitment to health and safety.
  4. A willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
  5. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Australian working rights or a clear pathway to obtaining them.
