Insurance Claims Coordinator Job Description

This is an entry-level position offering a permanent full-time opportunity to work for a national insurance company based in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day customer service and administration of property insurance claims, dealing with clients, internal staff members, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high levels of communication with all stakeholders
  • Liaising with policyholders throughout the life of the repair on key decisions relating to their works
  • Liaising with insurance companies and loss adjusters throughout the total claim life
  • Assisting with daily telephone calls, emails, and administration
  • Processing new claims, arranging estimators, and submitting quotes while adhering to KPIs
  • Monitoring incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Keeping constant and up-to-date correspondence in databases

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with property insurance claims and/or a solid background in property/facilities/construction
  • Be results-driven, striving to meet and exceed our KPIs

  • Proactive and solution-focused
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of computer competency in knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 tools
