Protective Concierge Job Description

The Protective Concierge will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients, scholars, students, and members of the public in a highly visible role.

  • Interacting with clients, scholars, students, and members of the public to provide professional information services whilst maintaining a secure environment.
  • Responding to enquiries in a timely manner and developing operational efficiencies to improve performance.
  • Setting up function rooms, managing emergency situations, booking facilities, and handling general administrative tasks.
  • Delivering exceptional service standards and enhancing operational efficiency to achieve outstanding results.
  • Responding promptly to workplace emergencies and conducting site safety inspections.
  • Managing incidents effectively to minimize risks and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintaining access control systems and recording data and security-related information.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid NSW Security Licence 1A.
  • Be able to work a 24/7 rotating roster across 7 days.
  • Have an unrestricted NSW Driver Licence (Heavy Rigid licence is highly regarded).
  • Possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card.
  • Hold current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Have Fire Warden training or be willing to obtain it.
  • Meet Working with Children's Check requirements.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Exhibit superior communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Display exceptional personal presentation.
  • Ensure reliability and punctuality.
