Job Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the Clinical Operations Team leader, takes part in the operations ensuring the quality and integrity of all the processes related to stored material: reception, storage, shipment, return and/or destruction, according to SOPs or any other required standard.
  • Verifies and signs operational jobs
  • Releases shipments for distribution
  • Manages the change of product status both physically and systematically following client instructions and within the scope of applicable Internal Guidelines
  • Follow and lead packaging instruction form for secondary packaging relabelling tasks ensuring GMP and GDP
  • Perform the quality check on a relabeling process in the absence of a Local Quality Representative and / or when it has been appointed for this function by the Quality Department
  • Have deep knowledge of all the protocols stored at WC Depot in order to provide instructions to all the Depot Staff
  • Act as Deputy Depot Pharmacist whenever required, supporting depot operational activities, as applicable, based on the local legislation
  • Ensure compliance with all government legislative and local health requirements
  • Maintain and assure compliance with applicable ICH, GMP, GCP, GDP, local regulatory requirements, legal requirements, and World Courier Internal Guidelines (or any other so required)
  • Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures, which contain all specific instructions to develop the Depot daily activities, from the moment of reception of the products until the shipment/ delivery of the products to the sites
  • Perform periodic Depot Self-Inspections as required, to assure everything at the Facility is working as established in WC SOPs
  • Identify and report possible problems arising from personnel management that may be against working schedule
  • Manages the status of product to ensure expired stock is moved to Quarantine status
  • Required to be part of an on call roster 24/7 to provide telephone assistance as well as in person attendance for emergency response in case of any concern occurring at the facility in relation to temperature control of the product
  • Participate in reviewing and authoring global and local SOPs, WI's and TRN documents
  • Work in all temperature controlled environments including but not limited to +15 to +25°C +2 to +8°C -20 to -30°C
  • Physically perform packing process of inbound, outbound and returned shipments using Cencora World Courier packaging products
  • Participate in occasional scheduled weekend tasks for stock control and balance sheet processes
  • Lead continuous Improvement initiatives to ensure processes are streamlined.
  • Fully trained in the Clinical ERP
  • Willingness to be trained how to use EWP equipment
  • Perform any other duties the employee has been trained for

Reports Directly To:

Clinical Team Leader

Education:

  • Tertiary qualification e.g diploma or equivalent and/ or required training in pharmaceutical service is required for this position, whenever local regulation is allowing this associate to perform the mentioned activities
  • Preferable for candidate to have some work experience in warehousing and/or dispensing

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Preferred: Experience in a management role and preferably in the Clinical Trial business
  • Position will require being able to lift loads up to 20kg independently using safe lifting methods described in manual handling training
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships
  • Be able to take initiatives and solve problems
  • Self driven and can work autonomously
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • An understanding of Imports and Exports processes and statutory requirements
  • Intermediate experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound level of numeracy and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills with a full command of English
  • Problems solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands
  • A calm and customer focused approach
