Pharmacy Operations Specialist

Cencora, a leading provider of clinical trial logistics and pharmaceutical services, is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Australia.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity for a skilled pharmacy professional to work as part of our operations team at World Courier (Aust) Pty. Ltd. As a Pharmacy Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of all processes related to stored material, including reception, storage, shipment, return, and destruction.
Key Responsibilities- Verify and sign off operational jobs under the supervision of the Clinical Operations Team Leader.
- Release shipments for distribution according to standard operating procedures.
- Manage the change of product status physically and systematically, following client instructions and internal guidelines.
- Perform quality checks on relabeling processes in the absence of a Local Quality Representative or when appointed by the Quality Department.
- Have in-depth knowledge of protocols stored at WC Depot to provide instructions to depot staff.
- Act as Deputy Depot Pharmacist when required, supporting operational activities based on local legislation.
- Ensure compliance with government legislative and local health requirements.
- Maintain and assure compliance with applicable ICH, GMP, GCP, GDP, local regulatory requirements, legal requirements, and World Courier Internal Guidelines.
- Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures, which contain specific instructions for daily depot activities.
- Perform periodic depot self-inspections to ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Identify and report potential problems arising from personnel management that may impact working schedules.
- Manage expired stock to ensure it is moved to quarantine status.
- Participate in reviewing and authoring global and local SOPs, WI's, and TRN documents.
- Work in various temperature-controlled environments, including +15 to +25°C, +2 to +8°C, and -20 to -30°C.
- Physically perform packing processes using Cencora World Courier packaging products.
- Tertiary qualification, e.g., diploma or equivalent, and/or required training in pharmaceutical service.
- Preferable experience in warehousing and/or dispensing.
- Ability to lift loads up to 20kg independently using safe lifting methods.
- Excellent interpersonal relationships and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven and able to work autonomously.
- Intermediate computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and numeracy skills, with attention to detail.
Cencora offers a competitive salary package, including:
$70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
