We are seeking a dedicated Power Worker (Trade Assistant) to contribute significantly to our operations. This is a permanent role that emphasizes a commitment to safety, diversity, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assist skilled tradespeople in the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical networks.
- Support the team in various associated activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
We offer a competitive remuneration package:
- Annual salary ranging from $96,484 to $103,469 plus 14.75% superannuation.
- Location incentives available, including:
- Non-Urban Zone Allowance of up to $3,000 per year.
- Housing Allowance of up to $7,020 per year.
- Locality Allowance of up to $683 per year.
- Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments of $5,000 after two years, with additional payments at five, ten, fifteen, and twenty-year milestones.
- Secure employment with a strong collective agreement and annual increases.
- Enhanced superannuation options with salary sacrifice contributions.
- Opportunities for skill development and career advancement through ongoing training and leadership programs.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to foster positive relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
- A current manual 'C' class open driver license.
- Availability for emergency call-outs and overtime as needed.
- Willingness to travel for work assignments.
- Experience in safety observation and risk management.
- Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices.
- The ability to work safely at heights.
- Current High-Risk Work Licenses (e.g., forklift, dogman, rigger, EWP > 11m, VLC) or the ability to obtain them.
- Current Heavy Rigid (HR) license or the ability to secure one prior to starting.
- Current C2 Slewing Mobile Crane license up to 20t or the ability to obtain this qualification.
All candidates will undergo a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the selection process.
