We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team as an Electrical Facilitator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to train and mentor apprentices, students, and participants.

About the Job:

  • Permanent - Full-time position
  • Monday to Friday roster
  • 38 hours per week
  • Attractive salary + 13% Super
  • 6 weeks of annual leave
  • Certificate IV TAE covered by client

Requirements

  • Trades Certificate in Electrotechnology + Current Queensland Electrical Licence
  • Current C-Class Australian Drivers Licence
  • Ability to commit to work hours/roster
  • Queensland Working with children card
  • CPR / Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Possession of an Electrical trade qualification with a minimum of 5 years post trade work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, maintenance, and operation of the Vocational Electrical Program
  • Taking a mentorship role in promoting the education of learners
  • Participate in the Trade Education Team meetings
  • Liaising with students, employers and parents in relation to student performance and progress
