Spiritual Care Professional

The role of Spiritual Care Coordinator at our organisation is pivotal in championing spiritual care across a multisite residential aged care environment. This esteemed position requires exceptional leadership skills to oversee the delivery of integrated spiritual care services, ensuring that every individual receives holistic support for their mind, body, and spirit.

This opportunity presents a rare chance to shape and drive continuous improvement in spiritual care practice. As part of our wellbeing strategy and Model of Care, you will introduce innovative approaches to spiritual and emotional wellbeing, vital to quality aged care. Your vision, direction, and professional guidance will inspire an established team of site-based Spiritual Care Practitioners and other organisational leaders through training, coaching, and sharing best practices.

To excel in this role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree in theology/ministry, counselling, pastoral care or equivalent from an accredited program. You must demonstrate capacity to work at Level 3 or 4 of the Capability Framework for Spiritual Care Practitioners, with experience in spiritual care and leadership roles.
