The Head of Junior Years plays a key role in delivering a holistic education to students in the R-6 sector.

Job Description:

As the leader of the Junior School, this position oversees the delivery of a well-rounded curriculum that fosters academic, emotional, social, physical and spiritual development across various domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team of educators to design and implement engaging learning programs
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote student wellbeing and safety
  • Collaborating with senior leaders to drive whole-school impact through effective communication and strategic planning
Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires an experienced primary years educational leader with a passion for contemporary education and a deep understanding of Lutheran values and ethos.

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students
  • Knowledge of innovative curriculum programs and pedagogy
