Retirement Living Operations Director

Amana Living is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the management and performance of our Retirement Villages portfolio. This executive role is integral to driving operational excellence, financial sustainability, and strategic alignment with Amana Living's commitment to quality and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a diverse team of Service Coordinators, Sales Managers, Village Managers, Team Leaders, and administrative staff, ensuring the achievement of all key performance indicators and strategic objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Collaborate effectively with the Property and Retirement Living team, contributing positively to the development of business strategies and goals.
- Establish and maintain a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, client-centred service, and demonstrates Amana Living's values.
- Develop and implement high standards of customer service, ensuring operations are responsive to evolving resident needs.
- Lead outstanding customer services that optimize the property portfolio.
- Implement services in a compliant and continuous improvement framework.
- Maximize business development opportunities to drive sales growth and meet Retirement Living Performance Indicators.
- Enhance home care packages within the Retirement Villages portfolio.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.
- Ensure the financial sustainability of the area of control through effective stewardship, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams in a complex, regulated environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Industry, including Home Care Standards legislation and guidelines, Retirement Villages Act, and Residential Tenancy Act.
- Demonstrated ability to positively influence culture to drive performance and achieve set outcomes.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Sound financial acumen with experience holding accountability for substantial budgets and achieving successful outcomes.
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including:
- A salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum.
