Aboriginal Client Support Officer

The Department of Communities and Justice is seeking an Aboriginal Client & Community Support Officer to provide project support and effective customer service to Aboriginal communities and Aboriginal clients attending court.

This role involves providing culturally appropriate front line customer service, project delivery, and promoting projects and services to Aboriginal clients and communities. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting a range of Aboriginal targeted projects, preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining filing, record, and data systems, collating, interpreting, managing, and disseminating information to support project development and implementation, and undertaking research to enhance project delivery and outcomes.

To be successful in this role, applicants must have Aboriginality, a current driver's licence, and the ability to travel regional locations. They must also be willing to undergo documented verification of Aboriginality.

It is essential that the successful applicant is fully vaccinated and able to provide acceptable proof of vaccination status.
