Electrical Designer Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join our team in the Renewable Energy and Utility sectors, with a primary focus on utility-scale solar projects and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

The role involves supporting the electrical design of power delivery systems for renewable energy projects ranging from 100 kW to over 1,000 MW, and BESS installations from 5 MWh to 1,000+ MWh.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare complete drawing packages for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and photovoltaic (PV) layouts
  • Utilize engineering and power system software tools such as PSCAD, AutoCAD, PVSyst, and PVCase
  • Collaborate closely with lead engineers to execute design and performance simulations for renewable energy and energy storage projects
  • Apply practical engineering and construction knowledge across battery storage, solar, and alternative energy technologies

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience supporting Renewable Energy or Utility-scale projects
  • Experience in the utility or merchant power sector is highly desirable
