Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing power delivery systems for renewable energy projects and a strong understanding of electrical design principles.

The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering team to execute design and performance simulations for solar, wind, and energy storage projects. They will also be responsible for generating high-quality deliverables based on multiple design inputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare complete drawing packages for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and photovoltaic (PV) layouts.
  • Utilize software tools such as PSCAD, AutoCAD, PVSyst, and PVCase to support the development of technical designs.
  • Collaborate with lead engineers to execute design and performance simulations for renewable energy and energy storage projects.
  • Apply practical engineering and construction knowledge across battery storage, solar, and alternative energy technologies to ensure all deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting Renewable Energy or Utility-scale projects.
  • Experience in the utility or merchant power sector is highly desirable.
