About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a Senior Technical Lead to take on technical leadership responsibilities in Perth, Western Australia. As a Senior Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading technical teams and providing expert guidance to support the development of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the technical interface between customers, management, and implementation teams, conducting system analysis to derive functional requirements, performance parameters, and interface specifications that meet electrical safety standards.
  • Engage with system design activities, including trade studies, to ensure mechanical design artefacts are compatible with baselined products and consistent across all subsystems, delivering system designs that meet performance requirements.
  • Perform technical risk assessments as required, supporting the development and review of hazard logs, safety case arguments, and risk mitigation actions.
  • Ensure assigned mechanical components are developed and implemented according to relevant standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, such as mechanical, mechatronics, or structural engineering.
  • Experience in engineering disciplines, including involvement in requirement definition, management, analysis, design, and verification and validation.
  • Experience in effectively representing engineering professional services to both internal and external customers.
  • Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience (when a university degree is held).
