We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Sika Australia. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet our quality and cost requirements.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and implement process improvements.
- Communication: Communicate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product development teams, to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
- Education: University graduate or equivalent experience in procurement or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in SAP and Power BI.
