As a Court Interpreter, you play a vital role in facilitating communication between parties who do not speak the same language.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering accurate, high-quality interpreting services at various courts
- Interpreting for a range of court matters onsite at different locations, five days a week
- Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Communicating sensitively with diverse customers to facilitate effective communication
- A current certification in Arabic or Mandarin from a reputable professional body and a valid Working With Children's Check
- Over five years' experience interpreting in court settings
- Demonstrated expertise in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to perform well under pressure
