The Macquarie Asset Management team is seeking a highly skilled ESG Sustainability Strategist to drive the implementation and execution of our Net Zero roadmap. This role will act as an internal and external consultant for integrating ESG best practices into the Fixed Income investment life cycle within the Credit team.

Job Description:

As the primary ESG contact for all investment teams across Credit's Fixed Income business, you will be responsible for client engagement, implementation of the businesses' sustainability strategy throughout the fund lifecycle, regulation, reporting, governance, and more. You will also drive the implementation and execution of our Net Zero roadmap including our engagement strategy by building strong relationships and leveraging the expertise of both the Fixed Income and Sustainability teams.

What We Offer

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to navigate a large, complex, and matrixed organization.
  • 5+ years of professional experience ideally in the asset management industry and with a focus on fixed income or equities.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in sustainability or ESG.
