About the Role

Stryker Australia Pty Ltd is a leading medical technology company, and we're looking for an experienced Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Manager to join our team.

As an ESG Manager, you'll play a crucial role in helping us operate responsibly and sustainably. You'll develop and implement an ESG strategy aligned with industry standards and company goals.

You'll foster a culture of corporate governance, ethics, and transparency by promoting compliance with ESG initiatives and implementing tracking and reporting metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an ESG strategy to track and measure performance indicators aligned with industry best practices and company objectives.
  • Conduct gap assessments to identify business risks and opportunities based on regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and improve our sustainability initiatives to minimize environmental footprint and promote sustainable practices.
  • Built strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to communicate ESG initiatives and strategies.
  • Promote employee engagement and education through participation in our Environment & Sustainability Employee Resource Group.
  • Prepare and disseminate accurate and compliant ESG disclosures and reports.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 7 years' experience as a SME in ESG Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility, and local Reporting requirements.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with ESG frameworks such as TCFD, GRI, SASB, etc.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing ESG Strategies.
  • Qualification in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Sustainability.
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and actively problem solve.
  • Excellent time, task, and organisational management skills.
  • Strong detail orientation.
