We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Operations Manager to join our team at NEXTDC. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers by ensuring the smooth operation of our data centres.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Ensure 100% uptime of our data centres by effectively managing operational risk, maintaining relevant certifications, and implementing continuous improvement principles.
- People Management: Embed a high-performing culture within the team, ensure complete resourcing, and facilitate development through coaching and on-the-job training.
- Data Centre Management: Manage operational budgets, coordinate maintenance and commissioning scheduling, and oversee facility capacity planning to maximize capital investment.
- Risk Management: Identify and report operational, security, and WHS incidents, and assist in the identification and management of risks listed in the Site Risk Register.
- 8-10 years' experience in data centre facilities or similar critical facilities.
- People and team management experience.
- Familiarity with UTI (Uptime Institute) Standards.
- Degree in Engineering/Business/Electrical desirable, or an Electrical/Mechanical trade background with demonstrated experience in data centres.
- ITIL Foundation v3 certification (desirable).
