Employment Services Specialist Role

We have an opportunity for an Employment Services Specialist to join our team in Griffith on a full-time basis.

This role involves providing support to clients to develop the skills needed to be a competent and competitive job seeker in the current employment market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Helping clients develop the skills required to succeed in their job search
  • Actively marketing the skills and aptitudes of individual job seekers to suitable employers
  • SUPPORTING AND WALKING BESIDE CLIENTS TO ENGAGE THEM IN AN EFFECTIVE JOB SEEKING JOURNEY
  • Developing and harnessing a network of employers to secure on-the-job training and employment opportunities for clients
  • Understanding current employment incentive schemes and using them to get clients the best new job for them
  • Couching and motivating clients to become the best new employee possible and to secure their next job

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Positivity, empathy, and persistence to do an important job well
  • Experience within employment services, recruitment, marketing, or BTB sales
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to multi-task and effective time management
  • Knowledge and understanding of Workers' Compensation and injury management (desirable)
  • A current driver's license and motor vehicle, with the ability to travel
  • A passion for helping people recover and achieve their goals
