A seasoned logistics professional is sought after to lead the delivery of customer and operational excellence in our Contract Logistics team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving distribution activities in accordance with our overall strategic plan, focusing on operational excellence while creating a framework for continuous improvement across operational activities.

  • To enhance colleague capabilities by delivering training on key productivity improvement tools and programs under the production system/KN Excellence banner.
  • To design and implement annual excellence certification activities for locations/sites under their scope, striving for ever-higher levels of operational excellence.
  • To validate and assess continuous improvement projects with a focus on annual hard savings targets.
  • To coach distribution teams in the skills needed to drive operational excellence activities.
  • To lead deep dive value streaming analysis (DDVSA) events.
  • To deploy KN Excellence certification road maps containing all 26 continuous improvement elements.
  • To drive and monitor Kaizens for continuous productivity and quality improvements across operational activities.
