Compassionate Horse Collectors are sought to join our Pet's in Peace team, where they will be responsible for respectfully collecting deceased horses from vet clinics and owner homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on families who have lost their beloved pets.

The ideal candidate will work closely with expert teams to provide personalized care and support during a challenging time. They will also operate cremation equipment, return pet ashes to clients and vet clinics, maintain high standards of vehicle and workspace hygiene, communicate effectively with families, and perform manual labor tasks.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A genuine passion for animals and comfort providing aftercare services
  • A full driver’s license with no restrictions
  • A forklift license
  • The ability to lift up to 25kg unassisted and perform manual labor tasks
  • The ability to reverse a trailer similar in size to a horse float; a practical demonstration may be required
  • Availability to work on weekends and ad hoc weekdays
  • Comfort working in sensitive environments and dealing with grief
