Deceased Animal Collection and Cremation Professional

We are seeking a Deceased Animal Collection and Cremation Professional to collect deceased animals with dignity. As part-time collectors on weekends, you will be responsible for respectfully collecting deceased animals from various locations and ensuring their dignified handling and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigate daily runs efficiently
  • Operate cremation equipment and process animal ashes
  • Respectfully collect deceased animals from clinics and private homes
  • Return pet ashes to clients and veterinary clinics
  • Maintain vehicles and work areas at high standards
  • Communicate effectively with families of deceased animals

About You:

  • Prioritize compassion and comfort when interacting with grieving individuals
  • Hold a valid driver's license with no restrictions
  • Owning a forklift license is beneficial
  • Able to lift up to 25kg unassisted and perform manual labor tasks
  • Able to reverse a trailer similar in size to a horse float; demonstration may be required
  • Availability to work weekends and ad hoc weekdays
  • Comfortable working in sensitive environments and dealing with emotions
