Horse Collector/Cremator

Join our team as a part-time Horse Collector on weekends, located in Clontarf. We are seeking individuals with a passion for animals. You will be responsible for respectfully collecting deceased horses, ensuring their dignified handling and care.

As a Horse Collector, your responsibilities include:

• Navigation of daily runs efficiently
• Operating cremation and ashes processing equipment
• Respectfully collecting deceased horses from vet clinics and owner's homes
• Returning pet ashes to clients and vet clinics
• Maintaining vehicle and work areas at high standards
• Communicating effectively with families of deceased horses

About you:

• Passion for animals and comfort providing aftercare services for pets
• Full driver's license with no restrictions
• Forklift license
• Ability to lift up to 25kg unassisted and perform manual labor tasks
• Ability to reverse a trailer similar in size to a horse float; practical demonstration may be required
• Availability to work on weekends and ad hoc during weekdays
• Comfort working in sensitive environments and dealing with grief
