We are seeking a seasoned Program Controls Sr. Manager to lead our team in driving program performance and execution excellence.

Job Description

The Finance organization is looking for an experienced leader who can drive segment program performance and execution excellence. This role will work out of our Melbourne, FL location, partnering with the Program Planning and Controls Center of Excellence team to ensure adherence to our System Description and establishment of program business rhythms.

The successful candidate will have the ability to drive/guide a program team toward best business practices utilizing standard tools and processes in alignment with industry standards and company policies/procedures. This position requires strategic vision and ability to deploy large scale projects to improve and sustain Program Controls capability across the Aerojet Rocketdyne segment.

This individual will work on significantly diverse assignments, assist with standardization of processes, and foster a collaborative team setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 12 years of prior related finance experience or equivalent
  • 6+ years EVMS expertise and knowledge of government reporting requirements including IPMDAR, IPMR, DoD EVMS SIG and NDIA EIA-748-D
  • 2+ years experience leading program teams for large, high visibility projects
  • 2+ years direct people leadership experience
