Key Mergers and Acquisitions Role

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Finance professional to lead our Mergers and Acquisitions team in Melbourne. This exciting opportunity will involve overseeing multiple projects, staff, and clients, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

This is an ideal role for a commercially-minded individual with a passion for corporate finance and a proven track record in M&A execution. You will be responsible for leading advisory services, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with junior team members to drive business growth.

  • End-to-end M&A execution, including IPOs;

  • Sell-side, buy-side, capital raising (debt and equity), and strategic advice;

  • Managing deliverables within tight timeframes;

  • Building and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships; and

  • Contributing to deal origination and proposal development.

Requirements:

To succeed in this challenging role, you will possess:

  • A degree in Business, Commerce, Law, or Economics;

  • 3-5 years of experience in M&A within a top-tier/mid-tier accounting firm, investment bank, or boutique advisory;

  • Proven ability to manage multiple M&A projects from inception to completion;

  • Strong analytical, commercial, and critical thinking skills;

  • Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management abilities;

  • High attention to detail and strong ethical standards;

  • Demonstrated leadership and team development experience;

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
