Solicitor, Corporate M&A role with Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSF Kramer) in Melbourne. Join a premier Band 1 Corporate team and work on high-profile deals in Australia.
Responsibilities- Be involved in all aspects of corporate transactions including public and private M&A deals, takeovers for listed companies, disposals, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements.
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, provide advice on legal risk, and manage external client relationships.
- Ensure key deadlines are met by coordinating with other legal teams and advisers to deliver integrated client service.
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and client counterparts; support business development for existing and new clients.
- Mentor junior team members and assist with training within the team and the firm.
- Admitted Lawyer in Australia or New Zealand.
- 3–5 years of experience in a leading corporate M&A practice or equivalent.
- Excellent academic record and high attention to detail.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to contribute to a leading and supportive team.
- Ability to work to tight timeframes, both collaboratively and autonomously.
- Curiosity about clients and a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Genuine passion for M&A and corporate transactions with a commitment to continuous learning.
