About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build software for Australia's first scalable quantum computer. Working alongside physicists and engineers, you'll design software systems that interface with cryogenic instrumentation and control hardware.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing and testing software toolkits for hardware control (e.g. DACs, ADCs, signal generators)
  • Building and optimizing FPGA-based data acquisition applications
  • Integrating quantum software stacks with third-party toolkits like Qiskit and Cirq
  • Designing automated pipelines for data handling and analysis
  • Collaborating with researchers on control software for experiments
  • Working with engineers to optimize measurement and benchmarking software
