Job Title: Network And Communications Specialist

This crucial role involves maintaining secure operations across all IT infrastructure, supporting clinical, pharmaceutical, research and corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and support systems and networks for high reliability, performance and security.
  • Collaborate to meet incident and service request SLAs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Lead incident management when necessary ensuring effective solutions are implemented.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives including periodic security audits and collaborating with IT security teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement and create/maintain work instructions and design documentation.
  • Assist with the design configuration and maintenance of existing and new networks.
  • Participate in training programs and foster a cooperative team environment.

Requirements include:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior network role.
  • Expertise in technologies such as Cisco Meraki Windows network (DNS DHCP) Secure internet gateways (Cisco Umbrella) Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Switches Palo Alto Firewall and VPNs as well as telephony and meeting room systems (Microsoft Teams Cisco Webex).
  • Ability to provide technical leadership in the planning implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
  • Strong incident management and problem-solving skills driving processes for incident response.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively interact with stakeholders.
