Sunwater is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to spearhead the maintenance and monitoring of our resilient, state-wide network infrastructure across Queensland.

Job Description

This role goes beyond traditional network administration. You will design and implement network services to support operational locations, provide specialist advice on network architecture, and ensure seamless integration with operational technology systems.

You will manage vendor relationships for network support agreements and troubleshoot network issues to identify and resolve problems. Your expertise in SASE Technologies and PALO ALTO firewalls will be essential in this role.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Designing and implementing network services to support operational locations.
  • Providing specialist advice on network architecture.
  • Ensuring seamless integration with operational technology systems.
  • Managing vendor relationships for network support agreements.
  • Troubleshooting network issues and resolving problems.

You will bring at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, a degree in computer science or IT or relevant field, and strong interpersonal skills. Collaboration and teamwork are essential in this role.
