Residential Services Coordinator

TeamHEALTH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coordinator to join our Residential Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental illness to achieve their recovery goals.
About the RoleThe Coordinator will be responsible for providing leadership and day-to-day management of our designated Residential facilities. You will work closely with our Team Leader to develop and deliver collaborative partnerships that support participants to access appropriate services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strength-based strategies to support participants with acute mental illness
- Build relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including clinical services, participants, carers, community services, and government departments
- Analyse and exercise good judgment in problem-solving, identifying gaps in services and making recommendations for improvement
- Lead, coach, and develop staff to ensure they perform and reach their full potential
- Tertiary or Diploma level qualification in a relevant health or welfare discipline
- Demonstrated skills and application of delivering strength-based strategies to people with acute mental illness
- Excellent knowledge of the NDIS and how mental health fits into and how supports are provided to participants
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and exercise good judgment in problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop staff
