About the Role:

The Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join its team in Bega. As a key member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide person-centered care to individuals and work collaboratively to achieve quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Provide nursing practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients using information technology, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Participate in own professional development and maintain competence through ongoing education and training.
  • Work within a person-centered approach to nursing and demonstrate a willingness to adapt to changing care delivery needs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement and evidence-based practice with recent clinical experience relevant to the position.

Selection Criteria:

">
  • Current Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Effective clinical communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence.
  • Knowledge of and ability to work within a person-centered approach to nursing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Requirements:

  • Ongoing employment as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
