Residential Care Worker Role

This role is a key part of our residential care team, providing consistent and trauma-informed support to participants in their daily lives.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual who can deliver high-quality care, promoting recovery, skill-building, and daily living skills.

  • Personal care: showering, continence care, dressing, mobility
  • Support clients with challenging behaviours, including verbal aggression
  • Administer medication and assist with healthcare routines
  • Encourage independence, recovery, and structured daily routines
  • Assist with domestic duties: cleaning, meal prep, laundry
  • Follow individual support plans, behaviour strategies, and incident protocols

About You:

  • Experience working with people with drug & alcohol histories or forensic backgrounds
  • Calm, confident, and trauma-informed in high-pressure environments
  • Skilled in positive behaviour support and de-escalation
  • Flexible, reliable, and committed to ongoing learning

What We Require:

  • Cert III/IV in Disability, Individual Support or related (highly regarded)
  • Experience with complex behavioural environments (highly regarded)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, Australian Driver's Licence & reliable vehicle
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations as per public health orders
