
Health Efficiency Manager

The Portfolio Manager plays a critical role in enhancing health and wellness while developing their career within a System Sustainability & Performance Division.
This exciting opportunity involves managing relationships with local health districts, pillars, and shared services to ensure efficiency improvement program expectations are met.
- Work autonomously, managing a portfolio of health entities to ensure alignment with NSW Health requirements around efficiency improvement programs.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews, analysis, and reporting of Efficiency Improvement Plans.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with all health entities and ensure ongoing accountability and commitment to the Efficiency Improvement Program.
- Identify and promote efficiency improvement program learnings and ideas across NSW Health.
- Provide benchmarking services, performance analysis, and service review support, as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of stakeholders with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Strong ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate proficiently on challenging issues.
- Strong judgement, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with complex and sensitive matters.
- Experience in continual process improvements and demonstrated record in effecting change and improvements to reporting and business systems and processes.
As a Portfolio Manager, you will work closely with various stakeholders to drive efficiencies and improve outcomes for NSW Health.
