Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to support a major transformation project across the portfolio, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and alignment.
  • Design and execute communication plans that enhance internal and external stakeholder engagement, leveraging various channels and mediums to convey key messages.
  • Create and deliver high-quality content, including staff intranet articles, internal communications, newsletters, presentations, briefings, scripts, FAQs, training materials, and other relevant documents.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders to collaborate on and identify communications opportunities, fostering a culture of open communication and transparency.
  • Stay informed of industry news and developments, applying this knowledge to inform communications strategies and initiatives.
  • Analyse data and report on the success of communications initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance their effectiveness.
Qualifications

Attributes and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in journalism, English language or literature, communications, or another relevant discipline.
  • At least 7+ years of relevant corporate communications experience, with a proven track record in a large complex organisation and/or multi-brand portfolio.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an engaging manner to various audiences and adjust tone across brands.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across all levels of an organisation, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Previous healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential.
