As a Strategic Risk Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in embedding risk management practices across the organisation.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will develop and deliver long-term strategies that enhance risk maturity at the strategic, operational, and project levels.
You will own the enterprise-wide risk management framework, providing expert advice and leadership to the business, Board, and Committees. This is a highly influential role focused on protecting and enhancing our reputation, data, finances, and people.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the organisation's risk management, internal audit, assurance, and policy frameworks.
- Develop and drive enterprise-wide risk and assurance strategies.
- Integrate risk management practices with business strategies and operations.
- Oversee the policy framework and ensure compliance across the organisation.
- Coordinate insurance reviews and manage external broker relationships.
- Guide reporting and analytics on risk, including developing key risk indicators.
- Support project and functional leaders to embed risk and compliance practices.
- Partner with the internal audit provider to deliver quality, value-adding audits.
- Promote a positive risk culture through training, tools, and leadership.
- Provide strategic reports to the Board, Committees, and Executive Leadership Team.
