Security Professional

This is a strategic leadership role that requires an experienced security professional with extensive background in law enforcement or a similar field.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to develop and implement comprehensive security initiatives in a complex organisational environment, and excellent communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders and delivering training programs.
The Investigations and Security Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving security strategies that protect a campus community. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement crime prevention strategies to safeguard the university community and assets.
- Investigations Management: Lead investigations into criminal activities on campus, collaborating with external agencies as required.
- Event Security: Manage security arrangements for special events and VIP visits, ensuring safety while maintaining a positive reputation.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver high-quality security training and awareness programs for university stakeholders.
- Risk Analysis: Conduct regular security reviews and provide expert advice to mitigate risks and threats to safety.
