Job Overview

We are seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Specialist to join our team in a high-paced laboratory and regulatory division within the Australian Federal Government Agency.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management, project management, and a proven track record of managing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or Work Health and Safety Management Systems (WHSMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment and mitigation of risks in a structured and integrated way, leveraging the Department's well-established work health and safety risk framework.
  • Work closely with other members of the Quality and Safety Team to build knowledge and understanding of broader organisational risks and ensure high standards of quality and safety are maintained.
  • Provide comprehensive and expert advice on enterprise risk management, communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proactively manage and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A sound knowledge of government processes.
  • Experience in managing risk in a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
