Role Overview
This emergency management position is responsible for conducting a comprehensive review of 8 sites across Australia to ensure they have robust emergency and evacuation plans in place.
The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing these sites, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing a safety management plan that prioritizes business continuity.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Conducting site audits to assess compliance with emergency and evacuation procedures
- Developing and implementing a safety management plan that addresses business continuity risks
- Collaborating with stakeholders to implement policies, procedures, and plans
- Providing expert advice on emergency planning, WHS management, facilities, or property management
This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing professional at the APS6 or EL1 level to make a real impact in emergency management.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in emergency planning, WHS management, facilities, or property management in a Commonwealth/Government setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
