Job Title: Allied Health Assistant

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will be working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver clinical services to clients in their homes or at community-based centers. Your role will involve providing assistance and support to clinicians, patients, and families while ensuring the highest level of quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clinical services under the supervision of an allied health clinician;
  • Facilitate individual or group programs with clients in their homes or at community-based centers;
  • Communicate with treating clinicians to ensure understanding of program requirements and report on outcomes of visits;
  • Review equipment prescribed to clients, ensuring it is working correctly and safely used;
  • Support multi-disciplinary teams with clinical administrative duties;
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and resources for clinical care.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance;
  • Current open or provisional driver's license valid for use in Queensland;
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker's Screening card (Yellow Card);
  • Desirable: experience in community-based allied health assistance.
