Job Title:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Services Manager to lead our team. As a key member of the organisation, you will play a crucial role in managing administrative and finance functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and contributing to continual improvement of business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to establish efficient internal finance practices.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and accurate bookkeeping.
  • Manage a team of administrative and finance staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management.
  • Lead facility maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Develop positive relationships with vendors and external service providers.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and drive innovation to improve workflow efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Finance qualifications mandatory, with a qualification in business administration or a related field desirable.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Change management skills.
  • Experience working with accounting systems and software packages, especially Xero.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Sound knowledge of financial and payroll processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business analytics software.
