About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading and managing a team of IT Project Managers who deliver IT projects that contribute to the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a Team of IT Project Managers: You will be responsible for leading a team of IT Project Managers who are responsible for delivering IT projects that align with the company's business objectives.
  • Develop and Maintain IT Project Delivery Governance Framework: You will develop and maintain an IT project delivery governance framework that guides the standardization and continuous improvement in the delivery of technology projects across the company.
  • Ensure Governance Framework Integration: You will ensure that the IT project delivery governance framework integrates and aligns with other frameworks to establish appropriate governance arrangements.
  • Develop and Apply Project Alignment Process: You will develop and maintain a process to ensure that IT projects align with the governance framework, including defining roles and responsibilities, providing guidance to projects, and training project stakeholders.
  • Manage Project Delivery Performance: You will take responsibility for the successful delivery of group IT projects in compliance with the IT project delivery governance framework, collating project delivery performance data, and managing the reporting of performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct Project Reviews: You will conduct project reviews, making recommendations on how to improve project delivery and implementing those recommendations.
Requirements
  • Relevant Project Management Qualification: You will have a relevant project management qualification or equivalent competency within an IT context.
  • Leadership Experience: You will have at least 2 years of experience leading portfolio delivery teams or managing a project management office.
  • Project Management Methodologies: You will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Leadership and Motivation: You will be able to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals and the successful execution of programs that meet business objectives.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, combined with strong business acumen and the ability to understand and articulate technology concepts in business terms.
  • Policies and Procedures: You will have experience developing and managing the application of policies and procedures.
