Overview: A prominent state government client is in search of an experienced Delivery Manager to play a pivotal role in a significant transformation initiative involving an upgrade to SAP S/4HANA and a comprehensive refresh of business processes and operational frameworks. This project is designed to enhance existing capabilities and meet strategic objectives for improved value and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct, strategize, and coordinate the project team, ensuring successful delivery of project outcomes.
- Supervise the System Integrator's delivery across all project phases, including Design, Build, Test, and Deploy, focusing on critical workstreams such as SAP Functional, Integration, System and Data Migration, Infrastructure, and Security.
- Manage internal resources and engage key business stakeholders to address delivery challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the development of Solution Strategy and oversee Project Delivery.
- Facilitate team collaboration, drive project vision, and manage essential project elements such as scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee third-party vendors and offshore resources as necessary.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Over 15 years of experience in SAP Project Management.
- Proven experience with S4 Migration or ECC Cloud Migration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a System Integrator team comprising over 100 resources across various geographical locations.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management.
- Expertise in risk management, issue resolution, and managing dependencies within a complex matrix team structure.
- Proficient in managing all project phases:
- Explore: Conduct Design Workshops and develop Delivery Business Cases.
- Build: Oversee System Integrator Build Activities and Test Preparation.
- Test: Manage Testing and Cutover Preparation.
- Deploy: Coordinate integration of Dress Rehearsals, Cutover, Hypercare, Transition to Support, and Decommissioning.
