About Policy and Governance

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Advisor, Policy and Compliance. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping policies that meet legal and organisational requirements.

As an advisor, you will research, develop and review policies to support important organisational priorities on behalf of Service NSW. You will prepare reports, discussion papers, and advice, ensuring they are clear and practical.

You will work closely with teams and stakeholders to coordinate meetings and consultations, ensuring everyone is on the same page. Additionally, you will keep an eye on legal and regulatory changes, helping Service NSW stay compliant and informed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies that align with legal requirements and government priorities
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy initiatives
  • Prepare discussion papers and reports, providing expert advice to support decision-making
  • Monitor compliance with laws and regulations, conducting reviews to address non-compliance
  • Identify potential risks with appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate stakeholder consultations and facilitate working groups
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be headquartered across McKell, Parramatta and Gosford. We welcome applications from candidates who can reasonably perform the role from these locations.
