The Position

We are seeking an experienced coordinator to oversee the movement of cargo between air and sea, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient logistics management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring cargo availability and coordinating with transport companies to arrange pick-ups and deliveries
  • Collaborating with clients to obtain Bills of Lading and arrange payment of disbursement invoices
  • Liaising with AQIS/Customs regarding inspections and holds, as well as ensuring compliance with customs and freight forwarding regulations
  • Ensuring all costs are recorded and creditors invoices are approved for payment

About this role:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Cartage Coordinator position is essential
  • Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding terminology is required
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills are necessary
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy work environment is vital
