About the Role

The Clinical Lead plays a pivotal role in planning and coordinating the delivery of primary mental health services.

This role leverages clinical and recovery-oriented expertise to ensure program outcomes are met, while providing clinical oversight, supervision, and leadership within a multidisciplinary team.

The Clinical Lead is responsible for the safe allocation of resources, stakeholder engagement, and the continuous improvement of policies and processes to enhance service delivery.

This position not only ensures high-quality mental health services but also promotes service awareness within the community, all while maintaining an appropriate caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve mental health outcomes
  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision to a multidisciplinary team
  • Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance service delivery
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective resource allocation and service coordination
  • Maintain an appropriate caseload and provide high-quality clinical services
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical practice in mental health treatment and care
  • Experience in working and supporting Peer Practice workforce
  • Proven experience at a senior clinical level within the area of mental health service delivery
  • Experience in successfully leading/coordinating a team of staff and working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated experience in preparation of reports with recommendations
  • Experience working across a range of Commonwealth and State funded mental health programs
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Drivers Licence
  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
  • Current registration with one of the following bodies: Social Workers – Registered member of the AASW and having AASW Mental Health Accreditation, Psychologists – Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Registered Nurses – Registered with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists – Registered with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists and AHPRA
