About the Role

The Head to Health Immediate Access Clinical Lead plays a pivotal role in planning and coordinating the delivery of primary mental health services. This role leverages clinical and recovery-oriented expertise to ensure program outcomes are met, while providing clinical oversight, supervision, and leadership within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Safe allocation of resources

  • Continuous improvement of policies and processes
  • High-quality mental health services
  • Service awareness within the community
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical practice in mental health treatment and care
  • Experience in working and supporting Peer Practice workforce
  • Proven experience at a senior clinical level within the area of mental health service delivery
  • Experience in successfully leading/coordinating a team of staff
  • Demonstrated experience in preparation of reports with recommendations
  • Experience working across a range of Commonwealth and State funded mental health programs
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Drivers Licence
  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
  • Current registration with one of the following bodies:
    • Social Workers – Registered member of the AASW and having AASW Mental Health Accreditation
    • Psychologists – Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
    • Registered Nurses – Registered with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
    • Occupational Therapists – Registered with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists and AHPRA
  • Relevant Leadership or Management Training is desired
