Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical practitioner to join our team as the Director of Mental Health Services. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for providing operational and clinical leadership to support the delivery and ongoing development of our Mental Health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to our mental health teams
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and safety of our mental health services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Contribute to the development of our mental health service plans and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
Requirements
  • Current medical practitioner registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
  • Relevant experience in community or older persons mental health
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in mental health
