Early Childhood Educator Job Summary

This role involves providing a high-quality education and care service to young children in a kindergarten setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with families and colleagues.

The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for delivering a play-based education and care program that nurtures children's confidence, fosters a sense of belonging, cultivates a love of learning, and promotes community connectedness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive play-based education and care program that meets the needs of diverse learners.
  • Develop and maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that supports children's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality education and care services are provided to children and families.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent recognised by ACECQA.
  • Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting.
  • Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
  • Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues. They will be passionate about providing high-quality education and care services that meet the needs of diverse learners.
